In the past three years, The Initiative for Pediatric Palliative Care has brought together close to 2000 healthcare professionals and family members to learn and work together in intensive, 2 and a half day educational retreats.

Chronic Care Community Corps

Many baby boomers are in the "sandwich" generation, caring for both children and their ailing parents at the same time. This initiative will consider new ways to prepare patients and their families for the many decisions that confront them throughout a chronic illness with holistic strategies that work for them based on culture, resources, skills, and time.
